I had a Basic 7 once that the previous owner did some serious work to it. I THINK it was the one where the guy tried to chop a terlet in half. Nice 1/8" half-moon gone. Otherwise, it was in great shape. It took a little bit of work to get the edge back, but I got it. Traded it away for something else. Was a nice knife.

Don't cut bath fixtures with your knives. They are much harder than steel.

They have been chopped, stabbed, shot, hung, drawn, and quartered...but never has a Busse been beaten... ;)
