How much are you looking at putting into it? I know Texas Knifemaking supplies, in Houston, makes a pretty keen little 'beginner's model.' They ask about four hundred, total, for it, with a motor. I don't know if that's too much for your wallet right now, but you might want to go check it out...their website is at:
