New here found a 124 at a pawn shop. They are asking 100.00 with the sheath. Is that a good price. The edge will need some work. It looks like someone tried to sharpen it that had no idea what they were doing.
Thanks

I would say it's a little high depending on the age. 75 dollars would be a better bet. If you purchase remem er you can send to Buck for a spa service.

Pictures would be nice. Are the scales wood or micarta? If micarta are the black or burgundy?

Didn't want to show interest by taking pictures. I think scales are wood. Really big and squared off and I have huge hands. Buck was in large block letters with 124 below

I would use the sharpening thing to your advantage, that really ruins the value of the knife. Then send it to Buck and have them do the SPA service for $6.95....

Welcome to the Buck forum...I must caution you about the incurable disease "Buck Fever". You can only treat the symptoms by buying another Buck, then another, then another, etc.....

Also friendly reminder. You must be a Gold Member or above to ask or talk about values, the moderators will get you....:eek::eek::eek::eek::D:p

Go to FAQ's and read about selling, buying and posting questions. This forum is privately owned and the owner sets the rules. But in a effort to be fair and keep things running smoothly. 300

Thanks I read all the rules I appreciate the help I received. But I will be removing my membership to this forum

I read them too. Seems like the rules on most any other forum that i have been on. Still not sure where the having to be a gold member to ask a value of a knife is in those rules is but my reading comprehension is quite low these days.:eek::eek::D:D:D:p!!

Its pretty obvious when its read!

Got to "Terms and rules" then click "Echange rules".
Scroll down to section 5 the title is in Bold and Red! Read this then scroll back up to section 1 to the membership levels for what is permitted.
