Sole authorship piece (all steel made by maker). ABS journeyman smith Mike Ruth Jr. created this knife for the 2013 blade show. I am the original and only owner. I have used this knife for training and practice in learing knife combat so while not carried its hit and slashed many soft targets, and it has done some light chopping. NO throwing ever. Unfortunately i never had a sheath made so it may need one.
This knife being used has some obvious scuffs and sharpening marks but is very solid and in perfect working order. It begs to be used and swung. Blade is 8 1/4 inches. Overall length is about 13''. Blade is laddered W pattern damascus and the fittings are some other variations on that. Stag carver handle with damascus butcapp.
This knife retailed for $2500. Now you can have one you arent afriad to use and enjoy for $950 or best offer. I am pretty flexable but its time for me to move this piece I have enjoyed for many years.
This is an image of the knife brand new. It still looks great but you have to expect some of the signs of use. Please email me if you want me to try and photograph those areas. Thanks!
