Or, maybe it would sound better if I called this a field tested knife. Folks will sometimes ask "how do you test your knives" and I usually use my smart aleck answer "I take them hunting and fishing" (although I do cut paper, chopnails and break test pieces too). This knife went to Alaska with me last week and was used on several salmon and halibut and has been cleaned up and is still very sharp, although the scabbard shows a litte wear.
Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure
Flat grind with a very slight convex
Stabilized maple handle with Micarta and brass spacers
Overall length: 12 1/2 inches
Blade: 7 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

Payment sent! This will be fileting Lake Michigan coho and lake trout the rest of it's life.
I have always liked your town, where else can you drink a beer at a place called Swing Belly’s or have the worlds most expensive pizza in a civil war era church.

Oh, you've been here! I'm familiar with Swing belly's but what's this pizza and civil war era church?
