Used 4th Generation Microtech Lightfoot LCC D/A. Stonewashed Duratech 20C-V blade, carbon fiber handles. Born 01/2003.
This knife has been well carried and used, and shows the evidence of it. There's some wear on the edges of the anodized bolsters, but no dings or gouges. There's the tiniest little chip in the CF on the reverse side next to the bolster, too small to photograph well (you have to know what to look for to find it). The clip's surface is free of scratches, but there's some wear on the edges. There's some ano missing at the top of the backspacer that you can see in the photo below. The blade has been resharpened on my Edge Pro and is very sharp. Blade centering and lockup are perfect.
The flaw is that the sear/spring relationship is no longer 100%. If you whack it very hard (and I mean very hard), drop it (I've dropped it on carpet), or flick it open extremely hard/excessively, you can cause the mechanism to fire. It shouldn't fire from regular handling/use, but since it's no longer 100%, I would not consider this knife safe to carry in the pocket. I stopped carrying it when it opened in my pocket, and didn't notice it until I sliced my pinky finger pretty good.
However, it's still an otherwise functional D/A automatic knife. It'd be just fine for use as a desk knife, letter opener, "toy", or conversation piece. Especially for someone who can't carry an auto because of the state they live in. It's not perfect, but it's not $400 either. Includes original box, papers, and sheath with Lightfoot's shark logo.
The light spot on the top bolster close to the scale is a reflection/hotspot from the light source, not worn anodization.
Light spot on far right of backspace is worn anodization.
I'm asking SOLD, shipped and insured USPS Priority. USA sale only. Paypal preferred, no fees. Not looking for trades at this time. I reserve the right to sell to whom I want, or refuse to sell for whatever reason. I'll be lowering the price periodically if necessary until it sells, or I reach my bottom dollar (which I don't know what it is yet, so don't ask me "what's the lowest you'll go?"). Feel free to make me an offer, but if you make an insulting lowball offer, don't be surprised when I don't reply.

Thanks for looking.
