how about some pic of your users, edcs, beaters, ..

on which it is clearly visible with scratches, patina, dents, etc.

yeah i got the idea from another thread with the pic of the scratched up sebenza
 
it's because most knife pics seem to be taken when they are new
by the (new) and enthousiast owner
 
Looking at the EDC - What's In Your Pockets thread has made me wonder if used knives exist. :D



 
I've been carrying this for a little more than 2 years. It's a BM 630 that I modded to double edged and waved for right hand pikal.

The "scar" near the butt is from using the knife as a stake to keep a model rocket from touching the ground and possibly shorting the ignition leads. The jet from the D size motor caused that.
 
I prefer the look of a user. I buy well-worn, almost beat up users off of ebay as I prefer them to the new stuff. Paid 2/3 the price of a new 110 for one that someone else has beat up for 30 years. Which is crazy, but I like beat up knives, what can I say.

scrapyard dogfather right after it chopped that massive poison ivy vine.

Oh yeah, and that's a good way to keep people's hands off of your knives. Luckily, I'm not affected by the urushiol .
