Used knives; scratches, patina, etc.

What I wanted was a waved framelock Commander and in the course of making it, I wanted to keep things appealing to the eye so I cut off everything that sits above the handle. I figured I might as well grind another edge, and now it seems like I have a framelock CQC8 that has better defensive qualities than Ernie's single edged 8. To be practical for carry I had t drill and tap new holes for tip up.

As you can see, it has seen A LOT of use. Mostly punching holes in beer cans to further facilitate shotgunning and prying the child safety thingies off of Bic lighters.

But using it as a gantry for launching rockets is the strangest use I've ever put a knife to. I was pretty loaded when I did that, so no further explanation should be needed:D

I used this Morseth for nearly all my hunting and fishing from 1972 until 2002 when I started making my own knives. It has been used hard and often neglected, but it is still ready to go. The only thing I have had to do besides sharpen it every now and then is restitch the sheath because the thread finally rotted.
