used Rockwell Hardness Tester????

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a Rockwell Hardness tester. I know where I can buy them new but they cost a pretty penny (about $1k) so i'm hoping to find one used, but still working.

any available? any leads? any ideas?

Watch eBay. Sometimes they have some pretty good looking ones on there. Just be sure and email the buyer and ask LOTS of questions to make sure everything you need is there. I placed a bid on one and found out later that the diamond penetrator was absent. So be careful!
