I have a user Spyderco stretch that I just received in a trade. The knife is great but is really not for me. I haven't used it very much (just some paper to test sharpness.) Steel is ZDP-189 and the handles are blue.
A couple of things to note on this one. It was definitively a heavy user for someone - When I received it, there was some grit in the pivot area and the blade was pretty dirty. I cleaned the pivot area out (just some soapy water, did not open it up) which helped quite a bit. The blade shows wear marks from use. There is one small pit on the blade which is shown in one of the pictures. The spyderco logo, and other marks on the blade are faded. The scales are in good condition with some dust and other fine particles in the scales (I don't have air can to blow it out, otherwise I would). The blade opens up and locks just fine. No noticeable blade play, horizontally or vertically. The black finish on the pocket clip is scratched up from use.
This knife would make for a great user.
I am looking for other user Spydercos. I would be interested in gear, axes, fixed blades, and folders from other companies though I usually gravitate towards Spydercos, Kershaws, and Benchmades. I can add cash to make any deal right, though it would have to wait until the first of September (next payday). I am also looking for an Esee 3 boot clip. If anyone has one and is willing to sell/trade, please let me know!
