This Military has been carried, used and sharpened. The secondary bevel was ground to a more acute angle to increase cutting efficiency. This is the only modification to the knife. Opening is quite smooth, solid lock up with the liner engaging the tang just a hair past its full width, leaving plenty of room for wear. The knife has the older, blocky style spine jimping.
Two "defects" to note, first the blade does has some noticable scratches but nothing horrendous. Second, the stop pin screw on the clip side is badly stripped. The stop pin is adjusted correctly and has function perfectly for months like this without giving me any problems, but it is something that needs replacing should you ever require disassembling the knife.
The knife bears the marks of a carried and used folder, but still has years worth of service to give.
I'm only interested in other Spydercos. I'm putting this out here to see what offers I get, if nothing catches my eye I will happily keep it. Will add cash or knives for more expensive knives. Some knives I'm particularly hunting for:
Kiwi (Jigged Bone preferred but will negotiate for any kind of Kiwi)
Caly 3 (ZDP preferred, will accept VG10 though)
BG42 Military
Stretch 2
Chinook 3
Dodo
