Stripped user BK7, I've only used it to baton scrap wood for the basement fireplace.
Still nice and sharp, can barely see a patina starting to form (would be easily sanded away).
Pervious owner made the handle scales more grippy with a soldering iron (I think).
Comes with the standard BK7 sheath, and a very nice black kydex sheath with a drop style kydex belt loop. In excellent condition, good retention.
Asking $85 for the lot. Knife is $old, sheath still available
Will sell separately for $65 for the knife and $30 for the sheath, but the knife has to sell first.
(Asking a little more separately than together b/c of separate shipping)
Cell phone pics
I beat on this thing just about daily for the last 2 months (with a rubber mallet batoning firewood) and it still cuts paper nicely!
Taco sheath has drain hole at the bottom
Kydex sheath retention is good
No nicks or chips in the edge, still plenty sharp. 5 minutes with some fine sandpaper will take the light patina off.
