Hi,
I've got a well used 710HS which I'd like to trade for a chopper. Be it a kukri, a tomahawk, a smaller axe or perhaps even a machete, but nothing too fancy - I'd prefer to do an even trade or that I trade down.

e.g. (i'm open to offers!): Condor Kukri Machete, Cold Steel Trail Hawk, a shorter Fiskars axe + x €.

Regarding the 710... (I dont have a better camera - my cell phone is even worse. I could get better pictures, but that would take some time. Sorry)

The satin 710 D2 in these pics is gone and not for trade.

- comes with correct box and without the bag
- abuse? the end of the handle was used to open about 10-15 beer bottles (see the last picture). This was the only abuse - I did not pry, chop, spinewhack, scrape, ...
- sharpened? I've sharpened it (1000/6000 grit japanese water stone, ultra fine ceramic rod, leather+metal polish) and the blade is probably 2mm shorter and about 1mm smaller in width than a factory 710. The tip was restored by sharpening the spine a little bit (after I hit a stone while cutting)
- the coating is well worn. I've used a steeper angle which removed the top layers of the coating close to the edge.
- omega springs: I received a new set about a month ago, I've installed it and it went into it's box. Hasn't been used since.
- blade play: I've tightened the pivot until there was no blade play. After applying some WD40 it was pretty smooth, too. Not as smooth as a factory new one but a little bit better than before.
- back spacer: it's a carbon back spacer from cuscadi.de which I've shortened - not it's more like the backspacer of a 707. I like it. I can replace it with a plastic back spacer from BM if you want to.
- blade centering: the blade is at about 33%. It doesn't hit the liners and if you open it with your right hand and push a bit harder, you're pushing it to the center, not towards the liner.

Ok. I'd prefer to keep this trade within the EU (would be easier for me) but I'm open to any other countries, too. Just shoot me an offer - the worst I could say is 'no'. ;)
And please make sure that you don't violate any laws and that you're at least 18 yrs of age.

Have a great day! :)
