I am the only owner of this blade and I have used it quite a bit for cutting and chopping only firewood. The blade does have light scratching and wear marks from use. There is a small kink in the edge of the blade about halfway up the blade. I was chopping some very knotty pine this summer which caused the kink. The blade is still fairly sharp and remains 100% functional.
The handle is a tight as when I bought it and other than the cosmetic scratches and kink......it performs as well as new.
