Peter Cepriano (Big Pete Knives) of Maine, 3.5” blade, 0.15” thick, high-polished ATS-34 blade, rugged sheath made from thick wax-impregnated (to make it water resistant) leather. Used with some light scratches on the blade and some scuffs on the sheath. Hollow-ground with convex edge. A good working knife. $60 shipped.

Paypal OK.

Hi. Thanks for the inquiry.

I'm Jim, by the way. Peter made the knife.

It's hard to get good shots of really shiney blades. It may be a day or so until I get around to trying again, but I'll try.

Until then, the knife is still available to anyone who wants to buy it based on that one photo I have right now.

Any idea on the Rockwell hardness or even a website where one could see/learn more?

No idea.
He's not a web-savvy person either.

I used it on a trip to Alaska. It held an edge very well (on fish, rope and line) and never got even a speck of rust even though I was around salt water the whole time. Meanwhile, I had knives made from a more stainless (AUS-6) steel that had a satin finish rusted on the trip. The high-polish kept the rust away.

It's NOT mirror-finished because there are lines in it, but even those are polished to a shiney finish.

I don't know what else to tell you except I think it's a good knife for the money. It was given to me by the maker, so I'm just trying to get a little less than I figure it's worth.

That's a nice little knife. I bet 60 bucks wouldn't cover the cost of the materials. Someone should be snapping this one up.
