User Knives Thread

Interesting "use" for my TGLB today, couldn't get pics, but maybe made a new piggy. We had a large delivery of a very heavy antique "lab table," and the carrier had it strapped to a pallet with those metal bluish straps (help anyone, on what they're called?).

Anyway, to make a short story shorter, the geometry allowed a solid swing at the straps with my TGLB. Since we had to unstrap and check the integrity of the table before letting the delivery carrier go, i just whipped out the TGLB, took a whack at each cable, they sliced like butter (ok, two whacks on one of them).

The delivery guy just said "Geez, you'd do that with a nice knife like that?" I said "it won't hurt it, it's a Busse!" He said "where can i get one!"

Look up Busse Combat, man!

It was just nice to put 'er to use with an audience ;)
