Prices are via standard PayPal (goods and services). Shipping is included to the US. No sales outside US. Absolutely no trades. I will ship within 48 hours of receiving payment.
Due to federal law, no shipping automatic knives to PO Boxes.
Please do not submit offers. If something doesn't sell, I'll consider a price drop and edit thread. Take a $10 discount per knife, after the first, on each additional item purchased from my other sales:
(1) ZT 0630, (2) ZT0450CF, Spyderco Police, Dyad Jr, Pacific Salt, Emerson 8, Horseman, (3) Geisselle Glock Aimpoint Mount
SOLD Microtech Hawk - "user" condition. Bought it with the intention to modify it with aggressive full serrations and cerakote into a blood red color. I had the serrations done by professional knifemaker Jeff Halopof who apprenticed under Steve Ryan.
There is some finish wear on the blade. The automatic action is a bit slow. I've owned a handful of side-opening autos and this one is on the slower side, but every Microtech Hawk I've played with has the same speed opening. It's not bad, it's just not super springy like some others.
The knife is missing the lower body screw. I took it out intending to have a lanyard drilled into that position, because I wanted the final completed modified knife to have a lanyard, and I was testing the structural stability of the knife without the bottom body screw, and lost that screw. The knife appears to work fine without the bottom screw. It may be possible to have Microtech customer service send out a replacement.
Ultimately, I've been sitting on this for a few years and haven't had the time to find a competent machinist drill the lanyard hold and re-tap it for tip-up carry, or get it cerakoted, so I'm putting it up for sale at a steep discount to give it a new home. Would make a great user knife as-is, or a base for a custom project like I was considering.
