user name modification?

Spark,

Is there any way to modify my user name without requiring I re-register and loose the linkages to my postings, etc? What I have in mind is to go from "bald1" to "Bob Allman aka bald1".

If I become a moderator I think it'd be helpful. As things are now, folks around the Net know me more by bald1 than Bob or my full name.

Just a thought.

Not currently possible, though I personally have brought this topic up over and over and over again on the UBB boards.

Why? Because when I initially registered there, 2 years ago, I put my username as Kevin Schlossber instead of Kevin Schlossberg, and since then I haven't been able to change it, and didn't want to reregister.

So, we'd like to have the option, but right now it's not a feature.
