"User" or "Rare" CRK EDC Rotation... Convince me

I have 14 small 31's (7 pairs). 2 elforyn, 2 armor Black, etc. Intention here was to have a little rotation of carrys and backups. But, things have admittedly gotten silly as I added 5 rare mnandi, 5 small Inkosi, and 3 Zaans.

Given my OP, only a very small portion of them sees pocket time with the rest basically being queens (which includes rares and standards). So, I would like to, and honestly need to, refine this collection, but I'm stuck between admiring something like my armor Black Zaan, but acknowledging it never gets carried. On the other end of the spectrum is my PJ small Inkosi; it's definitely a POTENTIAL choice to carry, but it never makes it into the pocket either (mostly because too many other choices are ahead of it). So, it boils down to how do I get to a rotation that actually gets carried... And does it make sense to have one of each type, or does say, a small 31 suffice to replace the Zaans and mnandis?

Keep the one that brings the biggest smile to your face and sell the other one. It’s always sweet to have a knife with personality that is a constant reminder that you’ve given it that personality. A back story always makes any knife a keeper.
yeeeeehahhh but
I could do without that scratch I put on a high dollar integral ti grail when I STUPIDLY demonstrated to a coworker how an Emerson hook opens a knife and forgot to take the grail out of my pocket first !
yeah I could do with out that particular little " personality " reminder .😫😭😤😡🤕

You can use your knives without destroying them. I have plenty of expensive knives I’ve used for years and they are still in great shape, but I simply use them for cutting tasks only. No need to pry stuff or use them like a multi tool, get a better tool for things like that.
This ^

I think the answer is obvious , keep 'em ALL , enjoy them all !
If you are the kind of person that looses stuff frequently then maybe not carry the rare one(s) often (or only in the house).

. . . don't listen to the voices that say 😳 " pare down " , 😳" get rid of anything you don't USE ", 😳" live in a tiny house" .
They are evil.
Or at least, no fun.
. . . you in the back . . . I'M NOT A HOARDER !
I just like the stuff I got.
. . . and lots and lots of it.
. . .go away . . . leave me alone . . .
Exactly...i am not 'money motivated', i like the things that happen when i give it away.

hmmmm
When I give a knife away often the person cuts them selves , even women.
The sharper it is the worse the cuts.
Personally I have stopped sharpening knives for people for free and have not given a knife away in years.
It's less drippy that way.
I will say some of my coworkers , in the past , have been pretty "special"; e.g., I once observed a guy cutting up his apple at lunch with a plastic butter "" knife"" when I KNEW FOR CERTAIN he had a sharp folder in his pocket that woltd have been perfect for the job. He was a manager though so , . . . you know . . .

You're thinking too narrowly. I've had my lefty Night Sky Sebenza 31 in my pocket literally everyday since it came direct from CRK almost a year ago. It rides in a leather slip with another very small 21 also in a leather slip. These ride low in the pocket with the main carry for the day clipped to the pocket. Then, often at work, I'll set my Night Sky on my desk to admire, and then repocket it for lunch, or heading home for the day. Best of all worlds.
