User or Safequeen

Before purchasing my Boss Jack I thought about when/how I would use it. So, ultimately I ordered the CG. I like the grind and and specs of it over the LE. Had the LE been the same knife as the CG but available in Satin, it would have been perfect for me. I say plan to use both. You will find tasks where a LE will perform better than a CG and the inverse is true as well. It appears that most all Busses hold a good amount of resale value (be they used or not). You will not lose too many dollars to use the knife but you will lose all the benefits of these great tools if you never use them.

Short of trying to pry the hatch off of a tank, in what tasks do you think the CG will perform better?

ROTFL, it's so true. We get so used these knives at .25-.31 thick and start to think that anything below that is "thin," and yet your average $15 prybar is like .15 thick and literally could take apart a house without breaking.

My best wood splitting knives are the thick ones like the FBM LE and TTKZ. :p Other than that, BJLE would be the way to go.

Well, I've decided.

I will use the LE.

and keep the CG as a safequeen....along with another LE....

Went for a hike at crowbar lake with my new user.

Great pics, Whisker2.

resinguy, sorry I missed your question. I was speaking to...oh wait...I don't wanna open this can of debate. How about- there are times when a less reflective CG finish is best for the task at hand. I like them all.
