When I make damascus I will sometimes forge out a knife like this while I'm waiting for welding temperature. This is a stout knife, very sharp and with plenty of handle for the big person.

Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my shop to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to assure a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Tapered tang
Professionally stabilized spalted maple handle with black Micarta spacers
Overall length: 9 1/4 inches
Blade: 4 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
SOLD which includes PayPal fees and shipping within our USA. My PayPal and email address is gldrewknives@gmail.com

This knife looks awesome! Curious if you ever add any jimping to your blades? I like it particularly for gutting/skinning as it gives me a little more grip for precision work.

I just got some carbide burrs for my Dremel and could put some notches along the spine on this one. It wouldn't be too fancy but functional. Kind of like this

That is good to know and looks perfect for my intended use. When I see another of your knives that I cant pass up, if its not too much trouble, I'll probably ask you to do this. Glad to know its an option though.

I keep coming back to admire this one, Mr. Drew. I really like this knife and would love to own it, but I can't buy all of your knives that I really like. Nice one!
