The Deal
I bought this on the forum about 6 months ago. It was stripped and satin finished by the previous owner. Not a professional job but it was already a user so it was cool with me. When I got it my son and I took it outback and started chopping things. We started with a tree stump, moved on to some branches and then some cinder block. Everything was great and it worked amazing. I got the bright idea to try and chop some garden edging bricks. Not so good. Left small chips on the edge, see the pictures below. It was dull after that so I took it over to a local knifemakers shop (Chad Nell, great maker and cool dude). He lets me hang out and watch and learn from him. He showed me how to use his grinder on slow speed with slack belt to maintain the convex edge and sharpen it up. It turned out very sharp, shaved arm hair in some spots. I haven't used it since then.
I'd like $375 which includes paypal fees and shipping. I think it's a good deal but maybe I'm wrong. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER if you disagree.
Terms- Payment by Paypal only on this one. I will cover shipping and paypal fees. The best way to contact me is by Private Message (PM) or Email through the forum. Messages sent that way will go directly to my email inbox. You are welcome to contact me directly- robcelani at hotmail dot com. In the past some direct emails have gone in my junk folder which delays a response from me.
