I'm sittin' here pickin' and uh grinnin' with my POS Arkansas Toothpick in hand and I was wonderin' what the rest of you do with your classic toothpicks (9" or longer double edge blade, 1" to 2" wide) besides pickin' your teeth. (long daggers count too)?????

Wonder is the dental association would advocate such a hygiene plan?

IMHO the design doesn't lend itself to much utility or hunting work - pretty much a fighting/defensive blade. That being said, these large daggers have a long history and still make excellent close quarter weapons. I take mine on long walks in the brush mainly as insurance against loose critters - the reach of a 9-16" blade is reassuring.
