Dan, what brand was it? I know what I've got, and I know the features I'd want as posted, but I really don't know which manufacturers make one just like I described. If only there were a SG page on www.lathes.co.uk like their lathe and mill pages:o
 
You're a weiner Burch :eek: ;) ! I'm going to have to start buying some equipment just to keep up with you. I'll be sending you some folder parts for machining :cool: :rolleyes: .
 
I know a couple of knifemakers who have rigged their surface grinders to use belts instead of wheels. This allows them to easily change grits.
