Using file guides as bump stops with hollow grinding wheel

I have seen some of y'all do this when flat grinding against a platen but Seems like it may be a tad risky with a wheel, but does anyone here do this to get perfectly even plunge lines when hollow grinding?

Yep,just track the belt just to the edge of the wheel,and just barely touch the outside of the wheel with the guide.

cool thanks! I was thinking about this and figured surely somebody does it.
Think i will round the edges on my file guides and turn my grinder down real slow so they dont grab the rubber on the wheel and give her a shot.:thumbup:
