Using old files, found an old Stiletto Brand file, any ideas of steel?

I found an old very course rasp made by Stiletto, and the logo stamped on the knife is the same as the company that currently makes titanium hammers. I looked everywhere and cannot find any information on it. It looks pretty old as it is rusted and pitted quite a bit. I even contacted the company, but havent heard back. I cant even find a single stiletto tool outside the hammers they make. I am also wondering if I have a semi rare antique, and maybe shoudnt forge it. I imagine the file is W1 or 1095, but any ideas?
