Who uses their BK-3 and in what usage?

I have had one for a few years and other than a little root chopping/digging "hori-hori" style it has not seen use.
Could be a good froe for battoning. Anyone use one for this?
One of those "I want it" purchases that just sits there now.

Send it to me and I'll show you how I use it! :D

You know...this^ might not be a bad idea. Start up a BK-3 pass around thread. You'd get to see all kinds of action pics! Probably give you some fresh ideas on how you want to use that thing. Just make sure whoever has it last puts a decent edge back on her.
Wait a minute...these are Beckerheads we're talking about. It might come back Cliched, Fisked, Thrillbilly'd and Warriorized!!
Still might be something to think about.

Looks like Brad is up in Cehnehdeh so he might not be too down with doing the pass-around. If there are enough people that want to do it though(5-10), I would be willing to volunteer mine.

Wow man, that's awesome! I'm sure you'd find interested Beckerheads. You should make a thread and see what happens. Of all Ethans knives, the BK-3 seems to be the most photo shy. I'd love to see more action pics of that little beast.

I'm planning on getting one (hopefully this summer) to use in construction as one of my array of demolition tools.

I wouldn't say the BK-3 is camera shy...........it's just more task specific. That being said, its task isn't one most people perform. I've seen this beast destroy some windows, doors, locks and other medium is one of those crappy desert countries I keep getting sent to. I dont own one (on my list though, just keeps getting put further and furhter down by the 5,4 15...etc), but I will get one soon. Granted, it wont get used nearly as much as my 11,5 and 15, but it will accomplish its task sooner or later.

Cloverdale...I could drive over there after work. It would be a short pass around lol.

Nice to see a local around the boards. Get yer beckerhead number so we can host a BC meet!

Brad,

Other than to beat the crap out of anything I come across it really doesn't come out to play much. Good for breaking stuff though.

Dont forget Caminized...You definetly wont want it back after it gets a new set of tigerstripe G-10.

Cam, I'm gonna have to look into the cost to send something small like a BK14, or even a remora down your way... Your scales are pretty damn sweet.

Didn't mean to leave you out of that motley crew. I really like the work you do! Speaking of which, I need to Caminize myself a set of micarta scales.

Here's my review. I also had it out today - pictures to follow.

Doc

Hey Doc, I really enjoyed that thread of yours from back in October. I love the detailed reviews and pics.

I dont think it would be that expensive, when I first got my 14 from the states it was like 8 bucks for shipping :). Btw, I was in BC a few monthes ago... You should have rung me up and asked me to come over lol! Granted though I wasnt part of the becker forum at that time and you wouldnt have know who I was haha.

To be considered one of the great modders of the becker line would be an honour...Maybe soon I will be :D?
