using water buffalo horn for slabs

i am trying to slab a small knife with water buffalo horn. should spacers be used or epoxy to keep them on the steel?

If you're going to use Water Buffalo horn,
get it stabilized or it WILL move no matter
what you put it on with.

Wood Stabilization Specialists Inc (WSSI) does
a good job. They do have a minimum order though...

If you do a net search for WSSI, their website
explains the process, it's advantages, and the
charges well.
