Hmm the swiss tool suggestions reminds me of something i saw on here.... does anyone know who sells modified swiss tools? I know i saw someone on here posting pics of a Vic with a ti frame lock and n690 blade. I'd be very interested to talk to someone who does that kinda work. Maybe they could mod a leather man...

on a relevant note, aside the multi tool that everyone is correct in recommending, you definitely need to own an old school Ka-bar... if only for the historical aspect. Get one and look at it every once in awhile and remember that sometimes, that was the item that got our brothers back home.
