USP, USPS, FED-EX/ Delivery Preferences

If it's coming to Canada, it's USPS all the way. UPS SUCKS!

If cost isn't considered or I want it quick, FedEx Next Day. Otherwise, it's definitely USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation. I've never had a problem.

Forget UPS for me - due to extremely poor service to homes, I will no longer accept any packages from UPS. If one is left at my door, UPS gets a call to come pick it up.

I don't support any businesses that ship UPS only. I've had such poor service from them in the past 2 years, I refuse for any of my money, whether indirect or direct, to go their way. I'll admit, however, they do seem to do a much better job of servicing business to business transactions.

I do a fair amount of shipping from time to time. Samples, plans, specifications, drawings, and occasionally quite large checks.

If you have something fairly large & resilient, and you don't really care exactly when it arrives, UPS is fine, however, the chances of the package arriving on time are inversely proportional to how badly you need to get it there.

Smaller lighter stuff a little tighter timing, USPS Priority is pretty good, but they seem to miss their own deadlines more often than not.

Anything that you need to get somewhere by a date/time certain needs to be shipped Fed Ex. No other carrier can touch Fed Ex. for reliable on time delivery.

USPS Priority mail, all the way. Free boxes, fast delivery, unbeatable prices. What else do you need? I have been using USPS for years now and they have NEVER lost a package. Thats pretty darn impressive. I have not tried any other method simply because I don't need to.

For shipments from the USA to Canada, avoid UPS like the plague. They extract a "brokerage charge" that is huge, $30-$60. If you use one of the more expensive expedite services they can waive the brokerage charge, but then you still have to deal with the lousy service. USPS is good enough, although they did lose two Busse's that I was waiting for.

I have had no problems with UPS or USPS, except slightly slow delivery from both at times. Roger, every order that I have placed with you, UPS has delivered on time. Why it takes a week to ten days to receive orders from out of state is beyond me.

USPS Priority Global Flat rate Airmail has been working for me for about 15 envelopes from the US to Holland, until I lost a Spyderco Military by USPS Global Flat rate envelop.
There's no way of tracking the flat rate envelope as the barcode on the envelop is not used (correct me if I'm wrong) and no insurance either so this boy lost $77 + postage costs.
This may not be much according to US standards but with tyhe high exchange rate for your Dollar it hurt me.

This is a major bummer for me as the Military was to become my daily neck ornament in a River City Neck sheath that I traded with another BF member.

For me NO USPS flat rate Global Priority Airmail anymore, no thank you

For more expencive packages I prefer USPS Registered. It is the most secure.
