Thomas,

Don't give up hope yet...It might show up today or tomorrow...Give it a couple more days before you totally flip out.

I have alot of faith in the USPS...Sometimes delivery takes just alittle longer than we want or expect, but I have a good feeling that it'll work out ok for you.:).

But I do agree...Their "Delivery Confirmation" tracking does need an overhaul. That's one area where UPS has the USPS beat to hell.

I agree with Dann! I had one package lost for a few days and it was found.I do know how you feel! It's all part of the addiction!! Things will work out for you.

It wasn't a knife, but a relative sent me a package that got delivered a month after it was sent, and we live within 100 miles of eachother! I had no way of tracking it down, and had written it off. Then one day, there it was.

I just recently had a strange thing happen with USPS.I live in Kentucky and sold 2 knives to 2 different people,1 in California and 1 in New York state.I got the money from the guy in California in 2 days. The 1 from New York didn't make it for 12 days,so hang in there,it'll probably get there.

No worries, it got here , and another good trade with cerebrus, smooth as usual, some things are just beyond human control!

Cole I just sent you an email, not knowing that you had already posted here. I had prepared my wife for the worst scenario and had been at the PO this evening inquiring on how to actually file a claim. I can now play with my new SH-e. !!!!!

Cole is also a good one to deal with guys, he has been more than understanding on this.

Thanks again, and in the future, I will try to control my trash mouth guys. My temper gets the best of me from time to time.

Thomas...SEE, I told you I had a good feeling about this working out.:).

I had a problem with the confirmation, my customer emailed me 2 weeks after I delivered his knife, I went to the post office to track, they said it was an invalid number, yet, it showed the postmark from the post office where I sent it from. Problem was they had attempted delivery, left note on his door to pick it up, the note blew off his door,he had no clue. They told me they WILL NOT make a second attempt. Now all knives are INS. they seem to take a little more time to process if they might have to pay for it.

Edgedealer: I feel you pain. I am going to send everything insured from now on. When inquiring as to how to file a claim the postman told me they need a picture of what was damaged or lost and an approximate original cost. I am glad that I have a digicam now if only for that.

Glockman99: What can I say. You are a man wiser than I. :D
