It seems to be the nature of Usual Suspects to diversify within their collections of Tactical Knives. So what are you guys carrying lately? Here's what has been accompanying me as of late.
TacTrio.JPG

Top is a Microtech LCC/DA that had the StoneWash finish until I High Polished it last week.
Center is my little MOD Dieter CQDII that I received a week or so ago. THESE are SWEET! Get yourself one and you'll be glad you did.
Bottom is my trusty 2000 Commander bts.

Today's carry:
2 Commanders (98 and '00, serrated and plain)
MT LCC D/A, MT UDT, EKI La Griffe, BM custom balisong, JSP Credit Card blade, Leatherman Micra, Leatherman Super Tool.
That's about it, spring is coming so i'm travelling light...

My knives!

Today I'm carrying a CQC6, damascus and Pearl CQC6, Leatherman Wave and a Ti La Griffe.

Then again, I'm off duty today !

2Sharp- Do you carry all those knives at one time !!!!!
Holy Sh!t !!!!!

I hope you never walk under one of those gigantic round magnets, the ones that hang on a crane and pick up scrap metal !!!
With all that steel on you you'll get lifted up for sure

Where to start.

I carry a EKI '98 Commander modified by Bandit Knives in my primary side rear pocket.

I carry an EKI SARK in my support side rear pocket (but, I am ashamed to say that a MT LUDT2001 will be replacing it this week) (head hung low)

A Leatherman Crunch rides on my belt.

A JSP Credit Card Knife and Wallet are in my Primary side rear pocket

And last but not least is an EKI La Griffe around my neck.

Sounds like a lot when I type it all oout like that.

The two constants that never change;

Right and Left Handed Commanders, both front pockets. The Righty is a CN-Commander. The Lefty is a 2000 BT.

The left top pocket of jacket or vest has the CN-CQC-7.

Now the fun part comes in when I have to decide what goes in the right jacket or vest pocket, the lower right one. This is the floater. (Please, no fookin' toilet humor).

That is usually one of the following;

MT LCC D/A (You know, the heavy Ti one that no one likes but Hollister and I.
rolleyes.gif
)

Crawford Full-Sized WORTAC, no bolsters, black micarta and satin finished blade.

Emerson Waved CQC-7.

Emerson SOCFK, of course, for the Beginner's, that is Waved as well. (And you can "Wave them open" out of a pocket by twisting them when not carrying them using the clip).

The other "constant" is a JSP Credit Card Blade and the smaller wallet, just to carry the Driver's License and cash under the clip.

If I am going to be carrying alot of money, I break out the larger JSP Wallet and Omega™ Blade. That wallet is the size of a checkbook, you know, what Men used to carry... (I like old and traditional things too)

I almost never leave the house without the Mike Snody (5 inch blade) Kwaiken in a Predator Kydex Sheath. Inverted inside jacket or vest on the left side.

If I feel like carrying a neck knife, I really usually don't because they are so heavy...Bwahahahahahahaha, I carry an EKI LaGriffe...what the hell else would I use for a neck knife?

Sometimes a JSP V-Gar System.

Did I miss anything? I dunno.

If I am in a hurry, which is most of the damned time, I don't carry all of this stuff, I don't have the time to jam all of it in pockets and I don't keep the jacket/vest "loaded" because my Son would inevitably end up getting his paws on these things. The two Commanders and the JSP CC-Blade and small wallet are never left home.

Oh yeah, Titanium JSP Koppo Stick in Keychain Form, like a Kubotan on steroids.

Photon 2 on the ring, Photon 2 or Lithium MicroLight™ on the LaGriffe's chain.

Blue or Red PAL Light in pocket...I really love the PAL Light because you don't need a screwdriver to change the battery, nor do you have to hunt for a battery, it takes a 9-Volt.

And the same goes for a knife...
And, I'm a Usual Suspect.

God... I feel underdressed with this group! All I've got on me today are my 2000 plain Commander, and a teeny UDT in my coat. Got a "Bones" neck knife from John Greco (well, from BladeArt, but John had his mits on it first)
biggrin.gif
Nasty little piece... I'll throw a pic up when I get a second. Anyway, I'm not carrying it because it comes with a leather belt sheath, and I asked Larry to order me a kydex. So, I'm waiting for that to show up before the knife leaves the house.
*edit* So, Eric... what's the background for that pic? You supplement the 'ol income by playing Santa at the malls? Looks like the beard part of the costume...
biggrin.gif
LOL I just thought about that for a second... Eric as Santa. "OK! Which one of you little &$^# peed on my leg?! *snack* out pops the Commander... OK, so maybe I'm the only one that thinks that's funny. I'm tired...

Chris,
Good point! The background in my pic is Angora Goat fiber (Mohair) which is the reason my wife raises Angora Goats. This is the fiber used to make Mohair Sweaters.

Well today I started out carrying my 2000 CQC6, changed to my Dozier folder (I went fishing and thought it be a wise choice to switch incase I fell in or something
biggrin.gif
). After I got through fishing I went home and got ready for our family Easter fish fry so I put my 98 Commander in my pocket. Got back home and found that my CQC7 that I sent to Bandito had arrived sometime today and have been playing with it since. It is clipped to my boxers right now (shared a little too much that time
biggrin.gif
). Well, off to bed. Happy Easter!

Recently, I've been carrying around a lightfoot a good bit-the LCC (not it's fat MT cousin)-it carries well in a suit pocket (my everyday dress). I also usually carry a ligthfoot neck razor and a HK USP/C 45 in a Alessi CQC-S. Weak side pocket almost always has my mini cqc7B no matter what I wear. When not suited up, or in jeans or shorts I usually have a commander (sometimes a socfk) When out in the yard, I carry a MT LUDT '01
Cheers,
DWE

For the past two weeks, I haven't been able to put this knife down. It is so far from almost anything else going on right now, Ryan notwithstanding, that its like the same quantum leap that the CQC6 was ten years ago. To paraphrase Jon Pareles: I have seen the future of knives, and this is it!

jbravo, congrats on your new Strider, it's a great looking piece. I've got a Tanto Folder on order and I'm glad to hear you say that these folders are as good as I hope they are.
