Although Usual Suspects preferences in blades are primarily Emersonesque in nature, I thought it might be fun to inquire as to what other brands that Usual Suspects also favor for daily carry. Let's see some pix, guys!
USDailyCarry.JPG

These are my primary daily carry choices.
1. Fred Perrin Custom Buffalo Horn Bowie La Griffe.
2. This is actually my Wife's new daily carry, a California Legal ProTech Mirrored Jazz Runt which she adores.
3. Emerson 2000 Commander BTS.
4. A pair of nice ProTech TRIII's. BeadBlast or Satin? Decisions, decisions,...

5. A well worn ColdSteel GunsiteII that I recently satin polished. (Inspired by DavidT's Commander project.)
6. Emerson Titanium La Griffe.
Also pictured is my trusty SureFire 6Z Tac-light, my fave Gargoyle Legend FlashBlue shades, my SS Luminox Seal watch, and a new pair of Hi-Tec Elite Force Magnum boots to replace my beaten pair. Everything pictured is resting upon my Al Mar Tac-Jacket.
So what do you guys have in your Daily Carry Blade repertoire?

There is a similar post from December that is pretty complete with regrd to U.S. carry knives. But since you did such an awesome job with the pic I'll jump in.

When I remember to grab it before heading out the door I carry my Franken-Seven (A waved satin finish CQC-7 blade married to a SOCFK Handle) or my Chro-nitride Commander.

Recently I have been using a 99 beadblast CQC-7 for chores. I have managed to completely dull the blade and crack the vey tip of the point off (I wasn't prying! I swear!!)

Hmmm, I don't remember seeing many pics in the December post, and I'm sure that we've got more than a few Usual Suspects out there whose Daily Carry varies depending upon which knives they've recently acquired (Surely we've all acquired a knife or two since December, right?). I just see this post as a good opportunity for Usual Suspects to share pics of their more recent toys.
Not prying with your CQC7, arkham? Then how'd you snap the tip? Were you watching the Cold Steel video and got all motivated to start slamming your knife through car doors and 55 gallon drums, or what?

awsome pic, drifter! i usually carry a C.S. Scimitar (L.), and black Commamder (R.), or a CRKT Carson M-16 (L.), and Commander (R.), or a S&W Swat (L.) and (all together now), Black Commander (R), or my CRKT Kasper/Crawford Fighter, satin finish all plain edge, an' pretty soom, i'll have to also coose between a pocket hobbit, and EKI neck knife. :-0

Ok Eric, Not too tactical, but here's a pic of the things I stuff in my pockets before I leave the house everyday. The CQC6 may changeif I'm traveling.

Great pic, David. I've gotta ask; What kind of digital camera do you have? Mine is a bit outdated; Olympus D340R 1.3 megapixel. Your pics are always so ultra-crisp.

Daily carry:

And here are mine....I'll bet we have a lot of the same tastes in accessories.....
In flight suit uniform, on duty (no firearms by PA State EMS act, no aerosol weapons either, in aircraft):

1. large lockblade Victorinox with phillips screwdriver (in place of corkscrew) in inside leg "knife" pocket. A tool first.

2. Blackie Collins (Gerber) "silent partner" (I THINK it's called) neck knife. I need to replace this companion (of about ten years) with a LaGriffe...HAS to have a better grip. I can't believe I slept through the G-10 LaGriffes.....

3. BM-'7 or, more recently, a LCC/DA (micarta, stonewash, plain) in belt sheath (soon to be replaced with a '6.) A guy at work will inherit the LCC/DA.

4. To and from work, an airweight Chief in a cozy partner ankle holster (summer) or Colt Agent in jacket pocket.

Off duty casual:

1. STAR PD .45 (the best damn factory lightweight / carry .45 ever made)in either a Null or Alessi belt or IWB rig. Sometimes a Model 66 2 3/4" (needs a 3" taper barrel and better front sight...my next revolver project)

2. the '6...real soon ...of course, but for now it's the BM '7.

In dress attire I use a Seecamp .32 in a pocket holster. About as mousegun as I get... ALWAYS a blade, and the Spyderco Delica carries nice IWB appendix in a suit.

Other accessories everyday are my Rolex GMT and a cheap brass "ice scraper" money clip with finger hole.

Since firearms are verboten on duty, the guys at work have become pretty "blade smart." We actually have a couple of Gerber Guardians (an OLD favorite) and various other "boot knives," .. and while off flight duty in uniform pants, the "belt buckle" push knives are popular. You'll also see several Chinese cheapo folders, Buck folding hunters and 110s (VERY popular,) CRKT KISS, A.G. Russell skeleton folders ad nauseum...

Damn, John - I didn't think you needed an aresenal to leave the house every night in that little town of yours!
biggrin.gif
And you carry your GLock in a POCKET? I'd be a little wary of that...

Let's see (I have to do a pic of this - no camera handy, though.

) For me, daily carry is:

Green-T SOCFK, RF pocket
Fisher Space Pen, RF Pocket
money, RF pocket
Leather wallet, RR pocket
TAG-Heuer dive watch, left wrist
Samsung SCH-8500 phone, lower right coat pocket
Microtech M-UDT, upper right coat pocket
Keys (house/work/car/etc.), left lower coat pocket
CRKT P.E.C.K. on keyring

Boy, I seem to be at the opposite end of the spectrum with regard to carry. I like to keep things simple, with as few attachments as possible.

Cash
Ryan model 4

You'll notice the cash, all dollar bills !! That's all I have left after buying knives.

That Ryan is one hella nice folder...what is the cost/wait for one? Just...like...that!

Nowhere fast:

I'll increase the depth of those one dollar bills considerably if you want to sell that Ryan! You'd probably have enough to get rid of the rubber band also if you wish!

Don, this is Don speaking. me thinks it would be several of the bills visible in your picture but you might sweeten the deal by throwing in the Money Clip if it is 14K or 24K.

To throw my two cents worth in, I'm impressed. That number four is sweet.

I can't wait for my number five to get here.

Don, This is Don.

I'm afraid I can't give up the gold money clip, but I've scraped up a few items I could probably swap! I've got about enough "money clips" here to last several years! Think it'll work?

Hey Don,

No, not you, the other one (points finger)

Nice work on the E1 head- how did you do it?

BTW, no keys? Let me guess, you changed the locks on the car so that the wood sebbie opens it up, right?
