Usual Suspects - sound off!

Count me into this list.

First had a taste of an Emerson CQC7 (well, the Benchmade version anyway) at Gunsite in '95 when CJ Caracci demo'd one when they were setting up the first Edged Weapons class there. Right away I brought it and still have it today, along with one or two others :D

The only other knives I have are Striders (anyone got an idea how I can carry the Tiger concealed ?) and a Leatherman.

It's Emerson's all the way for me, on and off duty.

It all started with the BM 975 CQC7 for me..I saw it at a local knife dealer, and I loved it ever since that instant, after that, my next EKI knife was the La Griffe, then the raven....etc....currently, the latest 2 I purchased were the EKI Blackbird(serialized:D ), and the EKI Mach 1.....oh, and btw, I recieved the Blackbird and the Mach 1 knives in the elusive EMERSON KNIVES INC UNCRUSHED BOXES....talk about luck..

Haven't got the finances to support the purchase of a real SPECWAR custom, but I will eventually, with my first purchase hopefully a CQC9...
 
:) Wanted a CQC5 since they first came out. 5 years later, my collections has, well let's just say, grown......;)
 
Of course I'm here too, waiting quietly on the sidelines for the next opportunity to snag an Emerson at a good price. You just gotta love the '98 Commanders and Ti La Griffes!

Hey guys I've in there too with a bunch of production knives and customs from Ernie and had the pleasure of meeting him and his wife at NYC many years ago.

I also spend a lot of time in here. According to my wife too much time :) I just hope she doesn't look at the reciepts of how much goes to the Emersons :D

Count me in!!!

Been an Emerson fan a long time. Bought my first Emerson (a Commander) from Mary at their shop in Torrance, CA!!! Since then, I've acquired a few more production pieces (including the venerable Benchmade 975, even though it's not a true Emerson). Have yet to take the plunge on a custom, but when I do, it's going to be a 6 or 8!!!:cool:
 
While I don't post all that often in this forum (more of a lurker) I would be proud to be considered a Suspect.

I only have a couple of customs, still waiting patiently for my "Leftie-6" and my c/p commander, but I have 17 production EKIs
 
Well I've not got any customs, but I do have some production models and I'm a WAVE-addict! (thanks to Jonas :p )

As Don Rearic said (in another thread), when you use the WAVE the first time it's like a lightbulb comes on... anything else seems painfully slow to deploy, and I just can't imagine how I lived without WAVE for so long!

I got my first Emerson (a mini 7) just because I liked the look of it, and also I wanted to see what all the excitement was about...

Here! Ordered a Viper after reading about Ernie in the old Fighting Knives. Changed order to a 6 after reading other articles. 6 arrived 5 years later and it has been non-stop ever since!- Dick
 
I'm in. The Timberline Specwar was my intro to Ernie and his tools. Then it was my BM975sbt that scared everybody at scout camp. After that if it ain't Emerson or Strider, I haven't really paid attention. One of these days, I am going to get a custom and then I will be set, but right now I am working on my Pre-ban AR collection.

definitly a suspect, though a new one, and carry my commander 24/7, and will continue to do so, until the super commander comes out, and then it goes in RF pocket, regular commander to left - EMERSON RULES!!!! and now i'm starting to look at customs.......

I just received an emerson Neck knife the other day from that company that had recently been banned from the forums. sniper 308 youare right I will talk at you later about that . It is cool but it has not slaked my thirst for a custom folder though. It will do until I have the proper fundage . I also own several production models and carry a SARK when I am on duty and a CQC7-A while off.
