Boondock Saints? When did I miss this flick? Is it recent? I take it it's a "must see"...

LOL Gollnick: There was a thread in the Emerson Forum about Casablanca, and the whole Usual Suspects thing. Good history lesson for us young guys.

"Must see"? Hell no, it's a "must own"! I bought a Blockbuster "Previously Viewed" VHS tape.

I just did a search and found out it's available on DVD now. I'll be ordering the DVD right after I get done here.

Actually, Hollister and I are both Kaiser Soze. We like to keep people guessing, just like in the movie.

And you have to say it correctly, just like you are one of our burn victims.

My girl and I rented and watched Boondock Saints tonight. That movie kicked serious rear!!

We both loved it, and she is not the type that enjoys many "action" movies.

Thanks BalisongMan, and everyone else that mentioned it. I think I'll watch it at least one more time before I return it. I'll also be looking in the previously viewed movies for a copy of it. I just hope I don't have nightmares about Willem Dafoe in drag killing people.

It is a most excellent movie indeed. I also bought it pre-viewed from Blockbuster and it's one of my favorites. I love the music they picked, the symbolism throughout the movie, and the dark humor. I'm also not big fan of cats, so the cat scene was a bonus. Great stuff! (assuming you're not squeamish about the violence).

I went to the Video store in the mall to order up the DVD. The first words out of the clerks mouth were "Jesus, I gotta see that movie. Your the twentieth person this week to come in looking for it!"

As a side note, while doing research on Boondock Saints on the Internet, I found that it made a grand total of $25,812 when it was in theaters. LOL

Just got back from seeing "Momento", you might want to seek it out while it's in theaters. Neat flick.

Knife Content:

While I was carrying two folders, a CC knife and two multitools, I don't recall seeing one damn knife in the whole movie. That's wrong!
 
I had closed this thread because it seemed to go way off topic. Due to popular demand, I re-opened it and will stick it in community, as there is no more knife content.
