One thing I would suggest to you is mark a center line then do a 45 degree grind close to the line with an old belt before you start you regular grind. This will save an awful lot of grit on your belt and save the life of it. A lot of it will be scrapped off present that square edge into the belt. Just a thought. Mike
what makes you think we did not mark a center line and grind a 45. we forgot to take pics of the main grind. this is 1/4 stock and thats the onley way i would have ground it. actualy bigfattyt ground the 45s. i just helped him get a 1.5" flat grind as it would have taken him years to file it by hand. the rest was his work. good lookin blade in 5160
o and that goofy hat is very warm it covers my ears. i would rather be warm and goofy than cold and cool
