Utica Featherweight GS question

Hope I’m in the right place. And yes I looked through here and found some stuff that may lead to my question but they were old and didn’t want to bring em back to life.
Picked up a Utica Featherweight GS knife for the wife’s collection. She has one already. Obviously much older. Bone. Super knife. Anyway this one just doesn’t look as old and I have a hard time wirh Utica anyway. I’m (going to try) to post a couple of pics. It obviously has some amount of age. The snap is ok but not as snappy as I would expect a new knife to be. And from memory the logo is a tad different than her other one.
Anybody got any input on this thing? And seriously don’t even care about a value. That’s not why we both do this. And I don’t have much in it. Thanks in advance.

I always love to see a nice old Girl Scout knife. That one is a beaut. I don't know any details, but maybe if you posted it in the Scout Knife thread you might get some more eyes on it that are familiar with the old Utica GS knives.

Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll do that.
I’m new here and just recovering from the crud ‘who’s name I won’t mention’ lol.
Signed onboard and in just a day or so became ill and tested positive.
Gonna try and do that right now.
Thanks.

I moved this to the Scout knife thread.
Now if anybody can lead me how to delete this one I’d appreciate it. Lol

You can email Utica a picture of the knife and the tang stamp.
They will tell you the age range, if the covers are celluloid or something else, if the blades are carbon steel or stainless (but not the grade of steel).

At least they did for the "medium"(?) 4 inch closed Utica toothpick I have.

That GSA is in great shape. Nice find.
EDIT:
Saw in the other thread you asked if it's real.
Looks real to me. Utica still makes knives, but mostly modern one hand openers the last few years.

Appreciate it. I’m pretty familiar with BSA and have a decent collection of those. But GS I know nada. I prob need to post a pic of the older looking one she has. Pretty sure bone scales.
Thanks to all!
