Well from my wood anatomy lab, the professor is recommending/requiring a retracable box cutter type of blade instead of a good old razor sharp pocket knife. Stated the obious legal reasons so-as not to have large lockbacks floating around, but also said something about not having to sharpen them... Which I found somewhat, dissappointing?
In any case, I don't see any reason to not reprofile my good old (old-school tool steel) Imperial slip flat-to-the-stone and get it shaving sharp to use... What can I say I am a rebel
Uh, why am I posting this? No idea, guess to waste some time before class.
Oh, I do have a over-asked question though. It does have a nice patina, and I'm planning on leaving it in an apple over night. This would bring back a nice dark, rich patina correct?
