Utility Fighter Appreciation Thread

Figured it was time to show my appreciation for the UF series, and share my admiration to the CPK team for such an elegant design. Well done by all! My favorite fixed blade of all time. I'm embarrassed that I don't have a single AEBL UF. If someone can help me with that I would be appreciative!

And yes, I might have a UF hoarding problem.

Wow, that collection is overloading my mind. Don't tie me to the stake for asking but are they all safe queens or you've used one/some?

My collection, if it can be called one haha, is small compared to many here - 1 mini-Grip, 2 mini-RSK, 3 multi-tools...and of course, 1 SDFC, 1 DEK1 on order. Yet, I find myself using a snap-off box cutter to open packages. 🥸

I use a little Kershaw 8700 I got for $10-15 for most of my box opening needs 😞

In a moment of sad irony, I have a gorgeous set of Wood Caliber desert ironwood burl grips with silver Colt medallions inlayed that are going on my stainless full custom build KGB Customs Colt that arrives tomorrow, and this knife would have been a perfect complement for pictures. But, sold the knife to fund the second Colt that's coming hopefully next week.

I have one user out of the group, original UF. The rest are just nice to look at. Might add a UF2 DEF to user status. Feels great in the hand, not that the original UF doesn’t as well.

They made a lot of them, especially the UF2, so just keep your eye out on the exchange since they pop up often, two of them (UF1) just the other day that are still for sale I believe, make an offer for one of them.
