This is a hard working Plain Jane knife that has been properly heat treated for edge holding and toughness. I am able to keep the price down by not adding embellishments, just a practical blade for fishing and hunting folks.
52100 high carbon steel heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Slight convex grind
Vintage black canvas Micarta that I have polished (If this bothers you I can take some 100 grit to the handle to roughen it)
Distal tapered tang
Overall length: 11 inches
Blade: 6 1/2 inches long, about 1/8 inch at the choil with a distal taper to the tip
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry. Oiled for a harness leather look.
