Another one forged from 52100.

Forged closest to shape from 52100 steel bar to less than 5/64" (1.7mm - 0,067") thickness.
Thin and light, it will be a great kitchen tool. It feels great in the hand and it's razor sharp.

Flats are left raw, soaked in vinegar and wire brushed after forging. There are visible hammer marks on the flats. Spine is rounded.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are hand sanded with 600 grit.

Details:

Overall length - 12,3"
Blade length - 7,8"
Blade width - 1,4"
Thickness at the back of the spine -0,067"
The knife weights 4,68 oz and with sheath is 7,1 oz

Handle material:stabilized Mappa burl (European black poplar), black G10 liners, carbon fiber pins.

Handmade 4mm thick (0,16") vegetable leather sheath, no belt loop, just a blade protection.
