Very nicely done! Can you share an overhead shot of the knife's spine that shows the shape of the handle and it's angle toward the choil?

Eddie, extremely nice and a little different from most.
Flat Grind ? so straight 5/32" stock to the Saber line, then flat grind from there to edge ? and looks like a slight recurve ?
if i'm correct then this is a 'beefy' knife, no sissy here.

Mr. White Sir, i wish to claim this fine slicer but stout enough to wail away on, knife.
This will be Mr. E. White knife #5 for me, so i KNOW it's a good one and a deal at your modest asking price.
Now Sir, i will pay PP a visit to add the modest funds to your account.
Thanks Eddie, your B.C. bud, roland

Thanks roland! I can't wait 'til you feel it in person! I really appreciate your business, sir!
I look forward to again another going to BC!
yours truly,
eddie

That is beautiful Eddie!!!
I told myself I would buy it if it was here Monday Morning.
Great grab Roiland. Saved me some money.
You can always use an Eddie White knife.
The best in the Business!!!

Bret, i quite agree. cutting comes down to blade geometry and perfection of blade grind. There are very few, if any, knifemakers who are able to grind a blade better than Eddie White. I also think Eddie is a humble guy who tells it like it is. if he says this knife is a super cutter and a joy to use, then it is. he is not one to hype.
you can pay a whole lot more, but you won't get a better user knife than those made by Eddie White.
i base this on the 4 i already have, and from what others who own his knives have said, it's apparent that his consistency is 100%.
i post this solely to help others, new to custom knives, and needing input to help therm decide. sharing our experience a big part of BF's mission.

gentlemen thank you ever so much for your kind remarks. I truly appreciate it. 35 years of doing every part of the knife making business does have advantages, but i'm here to tell you....i learn stuff every day (usually the hard way!)

in all these years, i've got to attribute my grinding abilities to the lessons of Danny Thornton; my obsession for fit and finish to Blackie Collins; my sharpening skills from Michael Collins.

If you like what I do, it is because of these fine folks and so many more like them!
Always Learning,
eddie

Picked up this knife a few hours ago. just opened up Eddie's careful packing.
I'm still in the "GLOW", floating in knife happiness. and then feel a little anxious, realizing i let this knife sit for 22 hours before speaking up. I was lucky.
Fits my hand like a perfect glove, has perfect balance and is really sharp.
The sheath too is much better than in the pics and knife seats down with a satisfying audible 'click'.
This is not just me being Knuts. Eddie White consistently makes the finest user FBs. You can pay a lot more elsewhere and if very lucky get a knife just as good as one of Eddie's, but not better.
I say this because it is my experience and i have a lot of knives for comparison, but it might 'backfire' on me somewhat. it may encourage others to quickly snap up his future offerings, making it more difficult for me to get Eddie White knife number 6. But that is how it should be.
roland

I am so glad you liked it, Roland. I have just begun delving into the flat grind, but has always made sense on some designs. As always, you have my personal guarantee for fit and finish.
Thanks,
eddie
