]Here is a knife I finished up over the week end. Light and handy it will make a good carry knife for everyday chores, backpacking, hiking or skinning. The scales are some Black Walnut that was cut back in the 60's and stored. I was fortunate to get the walnut when a friends father who was cabinet maker decided to turn his fathers old cabinet shop into a hangout for his teenage sons. Here are the specs:

Steel- O1 tool steel X 5/32
Style- Utility Skinner
Grind- Flat Ground with tapered tang, serrations on spine and a polished convex edge. (sharp!!!)
HT- In house
AOL- 8 3/4 inches
Finish- Hand sanded flats with machine finish bevels
Blade- 4 inches to front of scales
Handle- 4 3/4 inch Axe handle design
Scales- Black Walnut with red liners
Hardware- Stainless Loveless bolts and 1/4 inch stainless lanyard tube
Sheath- Hand sewn RH fitted pouch style sheath made from vegetable tanned leather, tooled, dyed, and finished.
Asking 160.00 shipped in the USA or Canada
Paypal, USPS M/O, or Certified Checkes preferred, email for other options

Thanks Woodgood, I appreciate the kind words, my pictures really do not do this blade justice. I keep telling myself to build a light box but some how I'm always to busy making knives to get one done.

Joe: I like your utility blade - well done - nice lines to it.

Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words, I'm going to take some better pictures and post them tomorrow if this one is still here. The pictures up there stink, good thing I can make knives because I have absolutley no future in photography.

thats a beautiful knife mr hoover, along with my chopper and bush knife i believe ill be askig you for one of these in the koa wood to go with my upcoming j.hoover collection!!

Page 3 guys and still looking for a home, I thought it was sold but the intended buyer had some unexpected issues arise so it's still available.

You're killing me Joe, I'll take it off your hands, just hold off and ship with that other thing u are doing for me. I'll settle up this week.
Sound ok?
Steve
