Vacation - WTF?

Does anyone else have a nonviolent, tree huggin, republican wife like I do?

WTF...

I even get the third degree on why I have to take 3 knives on vacation.

Dang - No Matter how hard it is... she still finds a way to find the knives :D

Please share your knife hidin' ways with me so I can learn moving forward :D

BTW - I spent my $$$ in AZ and I loved it - She was shocked when we stopped for water and I had to pull out the Camp Tramp, SMF, BAD, Surefire E2DL, Matches, Lighter, TP, Clean Wipes, Sardines, Granola Bars, tinder, LW tarp, etc, so I could reach her water bottle

Our Next Trip will be better ( Repeat until you are convinced) :D

I Love my wife - She has put up with MA for 25 Years - But she will never get it ... Does Yours?

Hide um in her purse.
if shes anything like my ole lady,she doesnt have
a clue all whats in there.

Funny stuff, man!

Convince her that you don't "buy" knives. You only "trade" for knives. That way you aren't spending money on them... only swapping one for the other. ;) :thumbup:

I've also tried the "investment" angle. Poor choice... don't go there. Next thing you know Coach purses will be "investments"... can't win that fight, move along.

.... oh... and make sure she NEVER... EVER... EVER... gets the combo to your safe!!! :eek: An auctioneer couldn't talk his way out of that situation. :eek: You have been warned.

Simple! give her a pack for herself! then when shes thirsty she can reach for her own water bottle/stuff? then she will leave you alone!

Thats wat I did, last year I bought my girlfriend a camel back hawg when for we go hiking,
I even put some survival items in there for her & a knife so she has her own stuff & will leave my pack alone!
 
i get the line "next knife you buy im using on you!". i agree with trades thats my new line...

get your boss at work to allow you to ship packages to your workplace :) worked for me.
 
Yea, she kinda gets it, mostly I think she's glad I don't gamble and chase after other women.

I even have her help when I misplace a knife, she pretty much knows my EDCs so when I describe the knife MIA she has an idea what to be on the look out for. :)

Well it could be worse. :D

Never had a Republican Wife, maybe that was part of the problem.... Hmmmmm

Anyway it could be a lot worse. :thumbup:

Wrap them up in the sleeping bag next time and make her carry them. :D :thumbup:

My Wife does not understand the need for somthing solid in the urban setting:thumbdn:
 
I carry concealed handguns all the time so my wife does'nt ask any questions anymore. But she does ask oh is that a new knife
when i've got a new one laying out for my eye candy enjoyment.
