Using Lal Chatri's name was a very kind way of honoring a hero .

That Red Rock Raptor's shine rivals my knife's. Yes, not just HI puts the highest polish on their blades. But most companies do not use this expensive extra step. That is why HI and looks like Down Under knives are loved by their customers. And what an interesting knife the Red Rock Raptor is:
Kopis handle, Khukuri style blade, and with semi-Bowie dimensions.

Specs I found online
Overall length: 15 1/2"
Blade length 10 1/4"
Blade thickness: 5,5mm
Weight 690g / 24.3 oz
Material: 440C dual heat treated (edge 58-59 RC / back 45-46 RC)
Solid brass guard and pommel, leather handle
Genuine leather sheath with reptile embossing

I'm impressed.

sweetcostarica hello
they are all nice pieces i started buying there knives by buying the same knife used in the crocodile
dundee movies (now thats a knife) is actually the outback bowie and what a knife it is the recurve on the back of its blade is razor sharp too (so if you miss them one way you catch them going the other so to speak lols) i belive its an australian company but all there knives are made in thailand and as youve said its nice to see them going that extra step they seem to be going for quality rather than quantity ive only seen 5 products on there catalogue but i belive they might be bringing another item out soon now getting back to my oridginal point it would be a hard call to differentiate between the polish on h.i kuks and my new knives both are equally as good.
sorry guys if ive hijacked the thread a bit
all the best mick

Excellent pictures, and nice snag. Tirtha seems to have gone crazy with the buffer this time! That blade looks like liquid silver.

Thanks for sharing.
