Kyle, every time you post a knife I wonder what you will come up with next. You have your work cut out for you after this one. Of course I know you will do it.

This is one knife that engraving would only detract from ! I can't wait to get the one he is making for me and especially the one I'm to engrave for him !!

Kyle, I'll say it again; "You have the God given talent and drive of Vince Evans."

Thanks for all the complements everyone!

Here is a picture of all the pieces before I epoxied them all together. 38 in all. I have been trying to streamline the inside of my handle to make it have less pieces. Normally it would have had about 44 pieces, so I'm happy that I could make it with less.

Another beauty Kyle. Save some of that gator for my next sheath! :D

Caleb, you're pics are really good. You are moving on the learning curve like a man on a mission.

Kyle that is just fantastic work, both yours and Caleb's. The execution is stunning. Just beautiful. Your work continues to amaze.

Hi Peter,

I made the sheath a pouch style because it protects more of the knife than a one with a retention strap and it gives it a quicker draw.

The gent that ordered this knife will probably dress a couple large game animals that they have up there in Alaska.

Thanks for the complements everyone!

Makes sense to me. Thanks for the explanation.

You and Caleb are a tough team to beat. I am looking forward to seeing your next project.

Seeing your knives in pictures is impressive, but after having the opportunity to hold some of them, I can appreciate how nice they are.

You're welcome Peter.

Kyle,

Your work just continues to impress. I wish that I had your skills when I was your age. Your attention to detail will take you far.

The ivory for this one is especially stunning. It appears to have gotten a beautiful translucence from stabilizing. Who stabilized this for you?

Thanks Gary,

The ivory was like that naturally. It hasn't been stabilized. It came from Alaska and is the interior part of the tusk.

Thanks for the complements on the knife fellas.

Kyle, that is absolutely stunning, some guy sure is lucky still guess I will be in 2011 when I get one of yours.

Kind Regards,
Rick.

What an awesome knife, stem to stern. And even the selection of the ivory is perfection. You are a great talent, Kyle.
