They came up on my Facebook feed and found your post when I Googled them. Just ordered a few scales to see if they will arrive and what the quality is.
 
Valley Composites is one of many offshore companies selling composites.

Offshore composites are notorious for poor quality. One way they cut G10 cost and quality is to use a few layers of glass mat and lots of exopy. Glass mat is expensive, epoxy is cheap. The result is material that does not have the strength and properties of good G10.

Order arrived today and it looks good. I will test it before I start using it but so far I am happy.

I'm about to get som peel-ply from them. How was your experience with the product? My main reason for buying from this vendor is because both US and European shops have so low stock and color options in large plates.
 
Thanks Alpha Knife Supply Alpha Knife Supply I know that reply was a while ago. Makes perfect sense with the glass mat and resin ratio.

Still haven't used it but visually it is no different than what I have ordered from other suppliers. For the price I would say try it.

Got my delivery on Friday, going to try out the green one tomorrow. I'll post my "findings" when I'm done, but I got to say it looks promising! Fast delivery too compared to other Chinese companies.
 
Finally got them finished. Black handle is "original" G10 from the US and green is from Valley Composites. The Valley type is way hard to remove the peel ply, other than that I'm really happy with it. 1000005832.jpg
