Well put, Tony. Though the circumstances are completely different, I felt the same sentiment toward the voting for Hank last summer: a mark of solidarity.

My sig line VTW isn't permanent but it will remain a bit longer.

But no what happened reminds me of Germany in the 1930’s where you sneak over to the SS and report that you neighbor may be Jewish. It is that smell of lack of manhood that sours my gut.

So if that person still lurks here I want to be sure that he understands that we don’t tolerate cowards here. So my sig line isn’t about VTW but it is about people treating others fairly…. It is really just a metaphor at this point not an add. But it will lose its meaning in a week or so and I'll remove it.

I wouldn't say "lost its meaning" as much as "'nuff said, point made, solidarity unspoken". ...And I imagine that in a week, all or most of us will remove the banner after we feel that this point has been made, concerning one heck of an upstanding Forum member. Nuff said...! :D

I also hate when folks will quote a reply with JPEGS in it and not have the sense to delete the JPEG links from the quote.

Not only do you have to look at the same pics 3-5 times in the same thread, you have to wait forever if you're stuck with dial up.

Many of us have the Valley Tin Works Banner.. But how many have actually granted his request? Have you seen his stuff? It's beautiful! I fired off a deal for him immediately!

VTW is truly an artist!
 
His stuff is outstanding. When we re-do our kitchen in a year or two, I intend to contact him. I would love either a smoke hood or a backsplash as shown on his site.
