I just got my small Sebenza back from Butch, he did a DA conversion on it for me. I wanted him to try to match my micarta inlay lefty as close as possible. I think it turned out perfect I couldn't be happier. I can't believe how small all the parts are and how precise he has to be. My hat is off to Butch. I think I might jewel the spring on it I haven't made my mind up yet.

Looks good. How is the break down now? Is it even worth the trouble of taking it apart for a clean and lube?

Thanks, :)

It is very easy to take down, you just have to make sure your spring pins are in the holes when you reassemble it.

Very Cool that you can still clean it easily. I like the back spacer on the lefty (Classic?) also. I just noticed that it looks like Butch had to do some reshaping of the blade on the Regular. Guess blade mods are to be expected when you are adding mechanics. I just did not notice it before.

Congrats on the "new" knife,

You guys have so much more knife info than me. I'm looking at the pictures and reading the post, but have no idea what you’re talking about. I see the back spacer in one and a bar or something on the other with some kind of pin running through the back. I do know what the micarta is, but what is all the other stuff, if you don't mind explaining? I have a small regular that I got this year, so I'm just trying to learn all the tricked out stuff, thanks in advance, Jake.

Jake, it's a dual-action automatic conversion. The knife can be opened either in the conventional manual manner, or with a hidden button that actuates the kick spring shown in the spine photo.

If it is possible could you make a video and show how the seb works with the conversion?

Thank you.

I would but I don't have a camera, that I can use. There is one on youtube. I think if you do some searching someone has some photos of one taken apart as well.
