Valox vs Glass reinforced plastic

As I understand, the 444 has a valox handle and the new bucklite max has a glass reinforced plastic handle. I have an older knife with a zytel handle that I like. How does valox compare in terms of strength and durability?

There are a number of Valox polymers, just as there are many different Nylon polymers.
For a knife handle I would expect similar performance from Valox compared to Nylon.

In general, the Valox polymers are characterized as being tough, strong, resistant to heat and chemicals.

I wouldn't worry about it.
